I read on KISS' website that there is a 2 item limit for the stuff you can get signed by the members of KISS.

Do you think theres any chance I can get 3 items signed ?

I would want Paul Stanley to autograph 3 items and Gene Simmons to autograph 2 items.

I can care less about getting Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer's autographs.

Also, do you know why they banned guitars and pickguards from getting signed ? Because I think they did autograph guitars during their last 2 tours. I even have seen video clips on YouTube from the meet & greets and people are holding guitars in the videos.

Take a 3rd one just in case but make sure you get the two things you want signed.

They banned guitars & pickguards because people were putting them up on Ebay. They did sign guitars at one time but that didn't last when they ended up on Ebay.

I hope that helps!

Do you know how the meet & greets will be set up ? Because I noticed in older videos on YouTube the members of KISS would stand in different parts of the room and you could walk up to them and get your stuff signed. But in newer videos the fans were lined up along the walls of the room and KISS would go up to each fan and sign their items.

I dont understand why they would ban signing guitars. Because they are charging $1250 for the meet & greets for their upcoming tour with Motley Crue. I dont think the fans would be making that much of a profit if they sold the guitars on eBay.

The set up is pretty much how you said. You get your picture taken with them, then mingle with them, get some stuff signed.

You'll have a great time!

Yes, they no longer sign guitars. Remember the guys have their own guitars for sale. You can also purchase Gene's bass from that show as well as Paul's smashed guitar- signed and photo taken- but it'll cost you!

Thanks for your help !

I have one last question.

Im not worried about getting the 2 items I want signed by Gene but do you think I'll have plenty of time to get 3 items signed by Paul ? or would they be moving him along so fast that I would only have enough time to get 2 items signed ?

Hi,

Do you know if they also banned guitars on their 2010 Sonic Boom Tour ?

Yes, they started on the Sonic Boom tour... the resale value is amazing for an autographed KISS guitar which is why they don't sign guitars but you can purchase a smashed Paul Stanley guitar and Gene's bass from the night of the show-- signed. But it'll cost you a chunk of change.

OK cool.

Ive seen a few videos from the 2010KISS Meet & Greets and people are holding guitars in the video.

But theyre holding Paul Stanley's Washburn guitar to get signed.

So, Im hoping that they'll allow me to bring a Paul Stanley Washburn guitar since it's Paul's line of guitars and he's making money off of the sales of that guitar. Plus, its technically KISS merchandise in a way.
