Will Kiss Play "Beth" for American Audiences on their US Summer Tour?

That's a big question looming. Since Kiss' set list seems to vary between European and American audiences, I wonder if they will include Beth in their American set this summer with the HOTTEST SHOW ON EARTH Tour when the band returns home?

I hope so. Look, I'm an old school Kiss fan from 1975 and have seen over 120 Kiss shows and personally it does not bother me at all. I've enjoyed all variations of the band throughout it's Kisstory. It is part of the amazing Kiss catalog and why not? There is no disrespect to Peter Criss here from the band itself. Kiss is performing the song acoustically with Eric Singer and not with a tape as Peter once did. Kiss did re-record the song in 1988 with Eric Carr on vocals for the Smashes, Thrashes & Hits best of and was included in the 'Beautiful Girls' movie soundtrack. Eric received some negative feedback from fans, but in an 1989 interview he did with me, he was surprised it wasn't more. However, it's their catalog, their show, and after performing into their 37Th year, they can do what they want. Right? But can they win over the American Kiss crowd this summer by performing it?

Kiss seem to be getting plenty of Roberta (Flack- a term Paul once used in an interview) in the Kiss message board world over the sheer fact that they are now doing "Beth" live. Will it work in America? No one knows if they will even do the song here. We'll see. What will be interesting is to see how much the set list changes from continent to continent.
