MYRTLE BEACH, SC --

A couple hundred fans of the rock band KISS got to meet some of the guys Saturday at Broadway at the Beach. It was part of the kiss coffeehouse's 5th anniversary of its opening.

Drummer Eric Singer and lead guitarist Tommy Thayer took pictures with fans as well as signed autographs and participated in a question/ answer session with the kiss army.

But the day was about the people who made these two and "kiss" rock legends, the fans.

"The fans always love any opportunity they can get to meet the guys in the band," said Johnny Rock, owner of KISS Coffeehouse. "So that's what it's all about, getting out here with the fans and spending some time. Let them know how we appreciate their continued support and loyalty over all these years."

Staff at the coffeehouse says members of the band have been coming to Myrtle Beach every year for the anniversary. However, they say fans will have to wait until the next big milestone, the 10 year anniversary, to see any one else.
