WINTERHAWKS: Team will see KISS star Gene Simmons, sort of, in Saskatoon

He probably wants no part of the red-hot Portland Winterhawks, but rock star Gene Simmons will take the ice and play goalie on Friday when the Hawks face the Saskatoon Blades in Saskatchewan, Canada.
The KISS bassist plans to man the net during an intermission shootout.
"He'll be dressing up in goalie gear from head to toe," says Brittany Loraas, the Blades' manager of game-day operations.
Not sure what that will look like, but during the second intermission Simmons plans to have three people take shots at him.
