HARD ROCK NIGHTS RELEASES IT'S TOP ALBUM'S LIST

HARD ROCK NIGHT'S BEST OF 2009:
3. Ace Frehley Anomaly – The spaceman returns with his first solo effort in twenty years, debuting at #27 on the Billboard charts upon its September release. With longtime drummer Anton Fig in tow, Ace delivers a hard rocking record that will not disappoint longtime fans or newcomers to the Frehley fan base. Best song: “Outer Space.”

2. KISS Sonic Boom – Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley are the only original members of KISS left in the band, with Tommy Thayer taking on lead guitar duties and Eric Singer returning behind the drumkit, this time with the Catman’s facepaint. Many had doubts about the ability of the band to bring the rock, but those doubts quickly evaporated on the first listen of this disc. Sonic Boom is a return to the early 1980s sound for KISS – part hard rock, part pop – and it works just as well now as it did back then. Best song: “Never Enough.”
