KISStory - SEPTEMBER 18, 1987 CRAZY NIGHTS

CRAZY NIGHTS was released on this day, September 18, 1987 and became KISS' 14th album. Recorded in June of 1987, the album featured keyboards throughout on a Kiss album for the first time.
The album reached Billboard's Top 200 at #18 with singles "Crazy Crazy Nights" peak at #65 and "Reason To Live at #64 on
Billboard's Yop 100.
The album spawned three videos, one for each single and "Turn On The Night" which was recorded live in Providence, RI.
*The tour began 11/13/87 Mississippi Coliseum - Jackson, MS and
ended 04/04/88 Veterans Memorial Coliseum - Phoenix, AZ.
*The tour also went overseas to Japan -04/16/88 Nagoya Rainbow Hall - Nagoya, Japan to 04/24/88 Yoyogi National Gymnasium - Tokyo, Japan.
*Three additonal shows were added 26/06/88 The Limelight - New York, NY ; 04/07/88 Cheshire Fairgrounds - Manchester, NH & 08/07/88 Halifax Forum- Halifax, NS
*Three club shows- 08/12/88 The Ritz - New York, NY; 08/13/88 The Ritz- New York, NY & 08/16/88 Marquee Club - London, England.
*KISS also joined the MONSTER OF ROCK TOUR with Iron Maiden- 08/20/88 Donington Park- Leicestershire, England to 09/10/88 Festa de l'Unità - Milan, Italy before heading out on their own tour -09/13/88 Le Zenith - Paris, France to 10/04/88 King's Hall- Belfast, Northern Ireland. KISS played a total of 129 shows on the CRAZY NIGHTS tour.
