KISS' NEW ALBUM "SONIC BOOM?"

KISS' SONIC BOOM: NEW ALBUM DETAILS/

TRIPLE
THREAT
3 DISC KISS RELEASE THRU WAL-MART:
(Melodic Rock Twitter)
According to the Trademark Electronic Search System (TESS), KISS' new album will be titled, "SONIC BOOM." The new album due out October 6, which was revealed by Paul Stanley at a Canadian KISS show, will feature a 3 disc release from Wal-Mart. The triple disc will feature the new album, a CD of re-recorded hits ("Jigoku Retsuden", the orginal release in Japan) and a DVD. This is unconfirmed, but more details will be revealed soon. Nothing has been confirmed by KISS and should be treated as rumor until then.

The new album is KISS' first in 11 years (the first with this formation of KISS) and is produced by Paul Stanley.

The editor of Guitar Player heard 5 songs off the new album and recently wrote on the magazine's Facebook page,
"Heard 5 songs. If you dig KISS, you're gonna dig this new album. Paul (Stanley) sings his ass off. Eric (Singer) plays some amazingly powerful drums. Gene (Simmons) was finally made to play all of his bass parts (apparently, in the past, if someone had a cool bass idea, he let them play it), and he DOES have a pretty driving sound. Finally, Paul and Tommy (Thayer)'s guitars sound HUGE - with some fab riffs and '70s-style solos."

Three song titles have surfaced, "Russian Roulette", "Stand" and "Modern Day Delilah."

ALIVE 35 DVD WATCH-

Pictured: Gene filming the Melbourne concert. According to Trademark Pictures of Australia, the company has shot KISS shows during the ALIVE 35 Tour in New Zealand and Australia. It is unclear whether this DVD will be released as part of the triple threat release.
