KISS debuted their new drummer,
Eric Carr, at the only US show, for what would be two years for another tour, at the Palladium in New York City. It's hard to believe it's been 29 years.
KISS would take off that November for the famous 1980 Australian tour, which was the equivalent to the Beatles--mania. With shows also in New Zealand, it's one of KISS' biggest tours, with record breaking attendances, in the history of the band.
It would not be until December 1982 when US audiences saw and heard the band's new drummer on KISS' 10th
Anniversary tour which saw a young Motley Crue opening shows for KISS
in California. But more importantly, it saw the exit of Ace Frehley which landed Vinnie Vincent for his short time with KISS. Vincent would and could not match the presence and sound of Ace Frehley.
